The Seniors Noticeboard in the Locker Room is used for all formal notices and a copy will always be placed on it (Notices of AGM, Nomination of Officers,  recent notes of Committee Meetings etc. Placing a notice on the board will be considered sufficient to meet the formal communication requirements referred to on other pages although in practice the Officers will use other available channels.

Email – We produce periodic newsletters / bulletins and circulate these by email.  To facilitate this and in keeping with good data protection practice the Competition Secretary keeps an email list on the website and he presently takes responsibility for all correspondence with members to avoid us keeping multiple lists.  Any Senior wishing to be added to the list (or removed from the list) should contact him

Contact Email addresses for the Captain, Secretary and Competition Secretary are available on the Who is Who member page

A Seniors Website is intended to make communication more accessible and enable member access to more information, more easily, than in the past.  Individual members will be able to access the information they choose to receive and to choose when they look at it.   Other Officers will be able to publish member information appropriate to their duties.

Ask the Competition Secretary for a link to the Website – when you first use the Website please click on the Newsletter menu item (top right hand corner of the front page) and register as a subscriber to the newsletter as this will eventually allow us to move away from email lists and communicate direct from the website

The Committee wish to enable full and open communication with all members and welcome exchanges with members (not necessarily mid round).

Where members wish to raise an issue formally with the Committee it is preferred that information is communicated directly to the Secretary who can ensure it is properly dealt with and that a formal response is provided.  (i.e. don’t write to all the members of the Committee at once if what you want is a Committee view).
