In extenuating circumstances a player may have to cancel their booked tee time in a competition. In this case, it is the cancelling player’s responsibility to notify their playing partners of their withdrawal in both non-drawn and drawn competitions.
To contact the affected playing partners the V1 App has a members section which lists all club members along with their consented contact details so the playing partners details may be listed in there.
Depending on the member’s contact details on V1 you can either phone or email them. If no details are available then as soon as possible phone the Office and ask them to let the people know that you have withdrawn.
A back up plan is to contact someone playing around the time you were due to play and ask them to pass on the message.
For Drawn competitions the Competition secretary should also be included in the email communication as the withdrawal may require changes to be made to the draw e.g. 2 balls being converted to 3 balls.
