Two’s or Better
During Trophy Competitions we will offer a Two’s or Better Sweep.
Entry into the “Two’s or Better” Sweep will be £1.00. The Prize Pot will be 90% of the entry fees.
Anyone who has joined the sweep and scores a Two or a One during the competition will take an equal share of the pot. If only one player scores a two or better they will take the full pot.
The pot may roll over a maximum of four times – if it is not won during the fifth competition it will be held over and those who have contributed will be consulted about its dispersal. (Based on a study of previous Trophy Competitions this is an unlikely occurrence).
The remaining 10% of entry fees will go into the Senior’s Section Funds however anyone who has joined the sweep and scores a hole in one will be given a bottle of Scottish Single Malt Whisky (choice of distillery at the discretion of the Seniors Competition Secretary)
Participating members should note that the Seniors Competition Secretary is working his way through a list (many hundreds long) of Scottish Single Malts as part of his Bucket List and is therefore likely to smile kindly on any offers of a dram.
Holes in One
Hole in One in any Seniors Competition
To qualify for the bottle of Single Malt a player must have joined the Two’s or Better Sweep in a Trophy Competition, however any senior in any senior’s competition organised by the Burgham Seniors Section who scores a hole in one will have their success recognised.
At the following awards ceremony they will be presented with an engraved memento.
If the Hole in One is scored in a Qualifying Competition there may also be something forthcoming from “How Did I Do” but neither the Club nor the Section have any input into this.
