Changes to golf after 19th July 2021 when Covid restrictions are lifted
Gents,
As previously communicated by Kevin golf returns to pre-Covid playing conditions on 19th July.
As a result of this release from Covid playing conditions the following changes will apply to get us back the normal golf on 19th July.
1 All course furniture can be handled, so flags may be removed.
2 Bunker rakes will be available for use by those in bunkers so you can no longer move the ball 6 inches in a bunker (unless in water then a free drop in the bunker no nearer the hole). Ball washers will be available.
3 Penalty area marker posts and distance markers can be moved if interfering with your stance/shot. You have never been allowed to move the white out of bounds posts.
4 Competition sign in can be via either the V1/HDID app or by the PSI screen.
5 Score cards must be exchanged with playing partners for scoring and both player and maker to sign off on completion of the round. The new score cord requires you to include your WHS index, course and playing handicaps. Incorrect completed card – Disqualification.
6 From 19th July score entry will only be possible by means of the PSI screen in the clubhouse. The V1/HDID app score entry option will be removed from competitions. You cannot go home and enter your score later it must be done as soon as possible after the round.
7 Completed score cards are to be left in the bar after score entry, like we used to do pre-Covid. No card handed in will result in Disqualification.
